MORA Medieverkstad–Mediecenter (MMM) – Sweden

MORA MEDIEVERKSTAD–MEDIECENTER (MMM) – Sweden, which is a part of Kulturskolan Miranda in Mora city. MMM is owned by the community of Mora and is working with media education during school time and during after-school classes.

Among the various activities promoted by MMM the most relevant to the EEL project is the “School cinema”, where the teachers get materials about the cinema and the children work in many ways around the film experiences, television programmes for children, mini-productions during the media lessons, and course in film making for 16-19 years hold. These experiences are supported by the participation of children of the schools with coordinators of MMM in different festivals and workshops in other countries, such as Italy (kidsforkids festival), Greece (Agora, see ECTC) Israel.

As Partner/National Coordinator (P/NC) will take part to the main activities and it will coordinate schools in Sweden (activities 2.1-2.4). MMM will specifically be responsible for the Local Information Campaign by editing within its activities in school, documentaries and short stories derived from the EEL activities, written and produced for print, radio, television and online (activity 3.4).
